Villa Madeleine is a plantation estate greathouse nestled into the hillside in the serene environs of St. Croix's East End, overlooking Buck Island. Our pretty island hideaway has taken several bows in the international spotlight. Villa Madeleine has received numerous prestigious design and service awards, most notably its appearance on the cover of Archilectiti-al Digest in July, 1991 and seven consecutive Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence. It has enjoyed critical review for its marvelous locale, comfortable setting, fine food and beverage and gentle manners - the essential luxuries expected of a very special restaurant.

THE GREATHOUSE RESTAURANT features fine dining on an awning-covered terrace and a romantically lit garden as well as one of the most beautiful bars in the Caribbean. Begin your meal with such delights as Lobster Bisque, Chilled Mango Papaya Soup or Lobster Tortilla. Entrees which are as lovely to view as to taste are created from local fish such as Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna & Mahi Mahi. Other popular dislies from our menu which changes daily, are Mahogany Roasted Duckling, Fennel Seed Crusted Pork Tenderloin and various cuts of Prime Aged Beef. (Starters $5.50 - $12-50, Entrees $19 - $27.) For an extra special treat, reserve our "CHEF'S TABLE" to sample Executive Chef Philip Fitzpatrick's most creative cuisine from prix fix seven course tasting menu ($60 - $70 per person). Our desserts, such as Chocolate Hazelnut Torte and Strawberry Brulee Napoleon, created by Chef d'Cuisine Kyle Kingrey, are works of art which will tempt your palate and more than satisfy. THE MONKEY BAR is our newly redecorated more intimate and casual inside dining room. It is adjacent to the BILLARD ROOM, which features a changing display of local art. In addition to our regular menu we feature in the Monkey Bar a menu of Lighter fare. During January, February and March afternoon tea is served with an Island flair.

RAY'S CIGAR MARTINI BAR is the perfect place to complete any evening. Located upstairs on the breezy, balconied second floor of the Greathouse, it is the perfect spot for stargazing, relaxation and fun with its retro Havana atmosphere. In addition to premium cigars and spirits, a specialty martini menu is offered, accompanied by LIVE PIANO MUSIC at our beautiful Ebony baby grand. Ask for the house favorite, a Choco'tini, served in a chocolate drizzled glass. The fun begins at Ray's at 8 pm and goes into the night.

Dinner is served nightly from 6 pm to 10 pm. Live piano is offered on weekends, as well as a varied entertainment schedule for the Season. Major credit cards accepted.
